The working year at de Ateliers runs from September 1 through May 31. A participant may also use his or her studio during the summer months, though there are no studio visits from teaching artists in June, July and August. A work period at De Ateliers spans a maximum of two years. Most of the participants make use of these two years. It can happen, however, that the work period is ended after one year when a continuation is not considered constructive. It is not possibl eto apply for a shorter working period.
