Throughout the working year, teaching artists and art critics make individual studio visits every Tuesday. The number and the duration of the visits varies from week to week. Every participant has contact with every tutor; de Ateliers does not use sign-up lists for studio visits. In addition to the permanent staff of teaching artists, guests from within the Netherlands and abroad frequently visit the studios as well. Each Tuesday, one or more guest tutors are present. A guest comes to de Ateliers several times, so that he or she is able to speak with all of the participants more than once. Participants receive a schedule of planned visits each month.

Studio visits are held on Tuesday from 11 am until 5:30 pm. There is a lunch break from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
