During Amsterdam Art Week 2022, De Ateliers proudly presents five amazing video works by former artist participants. Each piece is shown in a room of its own. All works present the world as we know it in images we have never seen before. Facts appear fabulous, and fiction seems to be telling the truth. Based on various filmic genres, from animation to music video, the works show an inventive use of rudimentary techniques as well as state of the art technology. The five cinematographic narratives speculate on alternative scenarios. What if the migration from South to North is reversed? What if despised politicians resurrect from their graves? What if a big black bird takes possession of your home?
