Ateliers Support Fund

> ASF organisation

The mission of the Ateliers Support Fund (ASF), founded in 2005, is to raise funds in order to safeguard the continuity of the work of De Ateliers. Supporters include private collectors and corporate collections, as well as cultural funds, institutes and organisations who seek to support the artistic development of young and talented artists. Donations are meant exclusively for stipends designated to participating artists. The contribution of ASF is of crucial importance to De Ateliers and a substantial addition to the subsidies De Ateliers receives from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OC&W).

De Ateliers organises several exclusive events for supporters of the ASF. The annual Ateliers Support Fund Diner is one of them, always in collaboration with a prominent international artist. Guest of honour in recent years were Rineke Dijkstra (2017), Tony Cragg (2016), Luc Tuymans (2015), Joep van Lieshout (2014), Bridget Riley (2013), Daniel Richter (2012), Anton Corbijn (2011), Thomas Demand (2010), Anton Henning (2009) and Marlene Dumas (2008).

At the start of each working year, supporters are invited for a tour around the studios to meet with first and second year participants, concluded with a festive drink with all participating a tutoring artists, staff and supporters.

When the annual Offspring-exhibition is held to conclude the working year end of May, supporters are invited to an exclusive preview, where they have first options in acquiring works.
