Among the twenty four artist nominated for the Royal Award for Modern Painting 2016, nine are (former) participants of De Ateliers.
These are: Cian Yu Bai, Ricardo van Eyck, Ruben Kragt, Janine van Oene, Wouter Paijmans, Mike Pratt, Tanja Ritterbex, Laurens Stok and Charlott Weise.
The four winners will be announced by HM the King on October 7th, 2016.
In the Royal Palace on the Dam, work of the nominated artists is on show from October 8th until November 2nd 2016.
